Thanksgiving

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, his love is everlasting. Psalm 107:1
Today was a very nice day.  David was off today so he got to do things about the house and help Josh with school work.  He took Josh bowling with the home school group this afternoon and Josh enjoyed seeing friends.  When they got home I went walking with Josh in the neighborhood for exercise.  While they where gone bowling I got out and went to the mall and bought a few bargain items.  Home Health was by this afternoon to see Mom for physical therapy.
David  got to go see one of his friends, Brandi, and her new baby girl who was born in October.  They had both worked together in the NICU and we got to go to her wedding about three years ago.  David got hold little 'Sadie Claire', and visit with Brandi and her Dad & Mom who where visiting.    Praise be to the God whose Son bore our sins by His blood and has given us life eternal!
Because of your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.  Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips: When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.  Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice. Psalm 63: 3-7

Clayman

Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay. Job 33:6

But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Isaiah 64:8

Millennia

We were blessed to have had a little friend for the last eleven years.  Our last dog lived for 14 years and soon after she died, Josh was asking for a "baby puppy" every day.  One of David's friends who he worked with had two miniature schnauzers named Buddy and Gypsy Rose.  Out of their first litter she let David pick out a little girl puppy and when it was weaned he got to bring her home which was right after bath time, Josh was so excited.  David's friend, Charlotte, was very sweet to share this gift with us.

Since she was born June 3, 1999 and right before the new millennia, David named her Millennia and in honor of the new Millennial reign we hope for.   Although she was Josh's dog she would follow me everywhere like a shadow and if I went outside she would wait at the door for me.

She had a seizure while Josh was at running camp  this August and when they got back David took her to the Vet-with a spleenectomy following for massive tumors, that had spread everywhere.  She hung in there till this morning till right at the time I was getting Mom ready to go have an Ultra-sound of her leg for a possible clot.
The Lord is good and sometimes He gives us something else to think about in times like this.  Mom's leg was OK, Praise the Lord!  Thank Him for creating little animals that show love  & loyalty with no questions asked.
