Yom Kippur

Hatima tova! by the blood of the Lamb of God!  God has put His children's name in the Book of Life and sealed it and also sealed the scroll closed so that we are His. Through the power of Jesus Christ we are saved and sealed for eternity!

Glorious Fall

Know that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:3-4

Why, Stephen Hawking you did not create the Universe.

This week another secular-humanist captured in his own shell espoused his view, opinion.  Stephen Hawking,  a world renowned theoretical physicist, stated in his newest book that God did not create the Universe.   In frustration of being unable to come up with a Unified Theory he has kicked against the Rock.
In  Proverbs 38: 4 GOD says:" Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?  declare, if you have understanding."
In Josh's Exploring World History course this week one of  the verses was:  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.  2 Corinthians 5: 10
In the amount of time that Mr. Hawkings has been allowed to live on this earth is divided by an infinite amount of  time(eternity) he will discover if he was right or wrong.  The  Probability Theory and that Death's  Door does not re-open for the lost will close his decision making process.
An example of another scientist that has spent his life trying to explain what faith believes and what God did as He said.  This scientist has failed to explain creation but does not want to include God.
Just like Nimrod,  Mr. Hawking has reached for the stars without his Creator.

Mossy Oak 5k Run

32nd Prairie Arts Festival  West Point, Mississippi

The weather for good running is here!  This morning it was in the 60's and Josh and David got to run the Mossy Oak 5k Run in West Point for the first time.  There were 350 runners, some familiar faces but a lot of new faces from the local runners.

Stretching after the hour drive there.
            The line up.
And the Start at 8 a.m.

Josh coming by me to take the turn to the finish.

Josh did real well.  He did a PR of 21' 31", and 33rd overall.  We are proud of him.  David came in third in his age group, and got a cute little piece of pottery we can put on our Christmas Tree. The Festival had a lot of arts and crafts to look at.
